Introduction

Polyethylene Wax (PE Wax for short) is a synthetic polymer wax possessing the structural characteristics of low-molecular-weight polyethylene. It is widely used in plastics processing, coatings, inks, adhesives, and other industrial sectors. Its superior thermal stability, lubricity, and dispersibility make it an indispensable technical support component in various manufacturing processes.

What is PE WAX?

PE WAX (Polyethylene Wax) is a low-molecular-weight wax raw material polymerized from ethylene. Depending on production processes and structural variations, it can be classified into high-density, low-density, and oxidized types.

Its melting point typically ranges from 100°C to 140°C (tested under ASTM D3236 conditions; actual values may vary slightly depending on the specific product grade). Viscosity and polarity also vary by grade, directly influencing its dispersibility, lubricity, and compatibility in different formulations.

The main categories of PE WAX supplied by JUYEE include:

  • Thermally Cracked Type : Produced by thermally cracking high-molecular-weight polyethylene, offering exceptional lubricity and dispersibility.

  • Oxidized Type : Delivers superior polar compatibility, lubricity, and dispersibility, ensuring stable processing performance and surface quality.

  • Refined / Flake Type : Features high purity and low viscosity, with excellent thermal stability and lubricity.
